A yellow, vintage bicycle, one decorated with baskets of red geraniums - it made an appealing scene in the front yard of a house in a small town in Nebraska, USA. With early-morning sunshine on May 28, 2018, with birds singing all around me, I enjoyed the sweet pleasures of springtime while taking the photo.
For me, the bike brought back a memory of a childhood birthday party. My mother gave me and my friends rolls of crepe-paper streamers to wrap (and tape) around the spokes of our bikes. Then we had a brightly-colored bike parade around the neighborhood. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
