On a cool September morning in Red Lodge, Montana, I enjoyed a walk with my new camera (and faithful old lens). Seeing mountain ash berries, I was remembering my grandparents in Casper, Wyoming, who had a mountain ash tree near their front entrance. On this morning, birds ate some of the berries, while deer reached up for leaves to eat.
