Description
In this decorative art, a carefree girl is swinging over a wreath of springtime flowers. Her pink dress has petticoat ruffles on the skirt, puff sleeves, and white laces around a stand collar. Her Mary Jane shoes have sweet bows. She wears a floral headband in her straw-blond hair.
I (Nancy Lee Moran) painted the young girl with dry, soft pastels in 2000.
On an indigo blue-gray background with speckles, watercolor flowers form a wreath shape. I painted in watercolor the peach iris, wild rose, daffodil, columbine, viola, and petunia. I painted the periwinkle flowers and leaves in oil paint.
