Description
New design of December 2019 features a homemade gingerbread cottage with beaded ornaments, an angel, popcorn garlands, blue spruce, snow, and gold stars © Nancy Lee Moran. All of it arises from oil paintings by the same artist, using Photoshop to combine them.
I have a vivid memory of my mother making a gingerbread house for my kindergarten class at Christmastime.
In 2006, a friend made a gingerbread cottage for me, one that inspired four oil paintings of size 14 x 10 inches. I have included one of the paintings in this design, plus popcorn garlands and gold stars from another oil painting of mine.

Nancy, I love this adorable mixed media tiny cottage and holiday display! It brings back wonderful memories when I was a child and we would string some berries and popcorn on the trees outside for the birds. LF
Nancy Lee Moran replied:
I share similar childhood memories, putting a needle and string through berries, often poking my finger when I tried to thread a piece of popcorn - or else breaking the piece of popcorn! It was an early lesson in patience ;-)
