Description
On a September afternoon along a stream near Red Lodge, Montana, I took a hike with my new camera (and faithful old lens). I delicately refined the camera-raw image on Photoshop, to recreate my memories of the warm, inviting path. I wished I had seen animals along the trail, but had been encouraged to talk and clap, which I did, being in bear country along Rock Creek on "Lake Fork Trail" in a valley between great mountains.

How beautiful and peaceful. Love the shadows. Almost looks like railroad ties laid across the path.
Nancy Lee Moran replied:
It was a peaceful path to hike. I agree with you, Adrienne, about "railroad tie" cast shadows.

Very poetic! We were just in Montana hiking trails similar to this one. l/f
Nancy Lee Moran replied:
Thank you, Toni Abdnour! September 12, 2018 - when I took the photo - I was enchanted by the Montana forest trails. So you and I were hiking there in the same month, the same season.
