Description
A skein of autumn-colored Koigu yarn is painted in oil. It features knitting needles, a sea shell, and two decorative sewing buttons. The art has delicate colors of violet and tan, with bright touches of yellow, lime and orange.
Since the original oil painting is small, I scanned it at 600 ppi. I then enhanced and refined it with some digital painting on Photoshop. Now it can be reproduced at larger print sizes with great beauty and detail.

Julie Wynn has been a steady presence in my art life for many years. She began to frame some of my Omaha-area portraits in 1998 and to sell my non-commissioned genre paintings in 2006.
