Description
A grade-school girl, shown in profile, is hugging a papillon dog. Her hair has long, golden waves, while her dress of lavender pink matches the violet silk bow on the pup.
"The Hug" is a traditional watercolor on smooth Hotpress Arches paper, with a bit of colored-pencil sketching that shows through some of the transparent paint.
The girl lives in my neighborhood, while the papillon dog is my own dear Abby.
