Description
Peek through a window to a wee garden, where gentle spring sunshine has awakened baby rabbits, where daffodils sweetly nod.
Flowers of violas, tulips and daffodils awaken each of us to the beauty of spring. What a fun place for bunny rabbits to play!
Thank you to the patron who purchased the oil painting from Lewis Art Gallery in Omaha, Nebraska - in April 2019. To protect the integrity of the original painting, I am offering prints in sizes that differ from the size of the original art (12 x 16 inches).
The inspirations for my painting arose from friendly people in my small town. In April 2002 Dan and Carol Snyder naturalized part of their lawn with daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips. I took photos of it to paint "someday." Time passed until 2014, when I decided to paint some springtime images for my art agent. That April, Samantha Chadwick let me take photos of the adorable bunnies that she raises, then only three weeks old, of Holland Lop and Dutch varieties.
