Description
My tulips border can be licensed for a book cover (poems, book about flowers, book about nature), a sheet of decorative stationery, and other uses. To see it with other colors in the background, link to my blog:

While I painted the art with a quiet-gray background, my son Gregg helped me use Photoshop to offer other background choices: Dutch blue, eggplant, lavender, gray, and peach. Thank you, Gregg!
The flowers that I used as references were part of a bouquet from my daughter Emily Rose. While painting in oil, I appreciated the creamy white of the tulip as it compared with the snow white of the daisy. The cornflowers are a color often called Dutch blue and cornflower blue. The 10 x 14 inches painting is the same proportion as a 5 x 7 greeting card.

"Simple elegance" is how I hoped the refined paint details would be perceived. Thank you so much, Christy!
