Description
As marigold flowers bob in the breeze, you may be surprised to see one blossom moving freely around the garden. For the wee fairy, her flower is both a sun bonnet and a disguise. Like some garden fairies, she is wingless. She rides into the sky on the back of her bird friend.
Her dress, designed by the artist, blends into the greenery. It has a belt of delicate beads.
The art has variations of subtle green, which make the yellow & orange & crimson seem to glow.

Since the original oil painting is small, I enhanced and refined a scan of it with some digital painting on Photoshop. Now it can be reproduced at larger print sizes with great beauty and detail.
